JAMAVA is a device designed to perform magnetotherapy. Thanks to its parameters and shape, low weight, easy application and option to choose an individual treatment programme, it is suitable for professional use in surgeries and rehabilitation departments as well as for domiciliary treatment under medical supervision. Effectivity of treatment is comparable with bigger and more expensive clinical devices.

The use of the JAMAVA  device has provided favourable results in the treatment of arthritis of small and large joints, painful conditions and reduced mobility of joints and spine, healing of fractures and injuries, rheumatic diseases, inflammations of muscles and bones, sinusitis, toothache, incipient gingivitis, in healing of skin diseases, paresis of nerves of the extremities, carpal tunnel syndrome, impaired nurture of bones (aseptic necrosis). The device has distinctive pain relieving and anti-inflammatory effects. It reduces and, in some cases, even removes the necessity of using medication.

 

How to use device 

The JAMAVA device is applied with the circular flat surface directly to the affected site. In larger areas of the body (e.g. knee joint), the apparatus is moved slowly over the entire area being treated. The apparatus is applied with a strap for fixing at sites where it is uncomfortable or impossible to be held by hand.

Magnetotherapy is most effective if performed regularly every day. Long term medical experience has revealed that pulsative magnetic field influences functional disorders, but not the fixed pathological disorders where it may only reduce pain. This is why it is recommended to begin magnetotherapy as soon as possible.

The application period must be sufficiently long. The recommended period of treatment is 40 minutes a day for at least 15 days. Repeated application is essential.

The JAMAVA device enables the user to choose 1 of 10 rehabilitation programmes as well as to select the polarity of the magnetic field. It is possible to set the apparatus to automatically switch-of after the 40 minute recommended treatment period. The termination is signalised acoustically.

The device is not to be used to treat the following conditions:

Hyperthyroidism, hyperadrenalism, haemorrhage, in particular haemorrhage into the digestive system, cerebropathies (hypothalamic and hypophyseal disorders), mental disorders, tumours (incl. cured ones), severe fungal disease, acute viral diseases (e.g. influenza), acute tuberculosis.

When using the device some patients may experience a temporary fall in blood pressure. The device is not to be used by pregnant women and persons with pacemakers.

Magnetotherapy can be performed as part of a therapeutic plan, but can also be used separately.

When using the device please respect the instructions of your doctor and adhere to the operating directions.
