The company Marmots spol s r. o. is a Czech firm with the head office in Prague. Since its establishment in 1993, it has specialized in technical and medical applications of the magnetic field.

The company won its position on the domestic and foreign market mainly with its magnetotherapeutic appliances of the JAMAVA brand using the pulse magnetic field for treatment. The JAMAVA appliances are designed for clinic usage and home treatment according to physician’s recommendations as well.

The company Marmots also conducts designs and realizations of special magneto – electric and magnetic fixtures used especially in engineering for collective fixture of ferro – magnetic components and units and for mechanisms serving for abolishment of residual magnetism, the so – called demagnetizer.

Simultaneously, the firm performs repairs of modern and older types of fixtures and demagnetizers.

In firm’s head office, a shop was opened in 1995, where it is possible to try or buy magneto-therapical JAMAVA appliances.

In 1996, the company received a certificate for sale of the JAMAVA appliances to Slovakia and Germany.

In the beginning of 1999, the company Marmots commenced serial production of a new type of JAMAVA PRO appliance using the magnetic pulse field for treatments, designed mainly for professional usage in surgeries.

The firm Marmots concentrates on high quality of their products for acceptable prices.

The firm’s quality system for the product was certified by authorized person AO 201 and the mark CE 0125 by EN 42/93 EEC anex VI. was granted to the firm.

The appliances of the JAMAVA brand are accepted as medical appliances with the validity and possibility to sell in the whole EU. (CE 0125).
